Our Story
Dirt Slingin Tech exists to help grassroots dirt racers capture what they changed, what it did, and what needs attention before the next green flag—without turning race night into paperwork.
Why we built it
I built Dirt Slingin Tech because I lived the same problem a lot of racers still fight: you can work all week, tow for hours, unload, and still feel like you’re guessing. The car might be close—but not confident. You make changes fast, in the heat, with half a crew and limited time… then you’re trying to remember what you did two heats later, or two weeks later at the same track.
Grassroots racing is special because it’s earned. It’s late nights in the shop, budgets that don’t forgive mistakes, and people who show up anyway because they love it. We wanted something that respects that reality—simple enough to use on race night, but serious enough to help you actually get better.
What DST does
That’s where DST took shape: set up sheets that are easy to update, a data logger that keeps laps and notes tied to the changes you made, and parts tracking so surprises don’t take your weekend. The goal isn’t to turn racing into paperwork. The goal is to capture the truth while it’s happening—so the next decision is faster and smarter.
What we believe
As more racers started using it, the mission got clearer: help teams unload prepared, communicate better with their crew, and protect the parts they work so hard to buy. Whether you’re chasing a points title or just trying to make the show and race hard, the app should make your night smoother—not louder. Dirt Slingin Tech is still built the same way it started—by listening to racers, paying attention to what happens at the track, and shipping improvements that matter.
